Willows are still use in French modern society for making baskets.
So some of the willow varieties are still grown. Quite precious.

A tree that have many decorative uses in the florist market and to make baskets. It can also be used as a forage for cattle and other animals. Pussy willow help bees through the pollen-scarce months of early spring when little else is in flower
